James Roberts

James is British filmmaker who has been around the industry for years. With his routes deeply embedded in documentary television shooting for the BBC, BT Sport and more recently independent feature length documentaries. James recently Produced and Directed an international documentary titled A Plastic Wave which was focused on raising awareness about our plastic pollution crisis which is an issue he is very passionate about. Since moving to New Zealand James has shot several documentaries and TV commercials for big brands as both a Camera Operator and Drone Pilot and loves working in the great landscapes of the South Island

“Film making is constant problem solving really. I get a buzz crafting a shot under pressure with what ever light, equipment and time is available. On factual programmes, I love watching stories and characters develop. Reality can often be much stranger than fiction!”
