Josh loves time-lapse – it’s the perfect combination of technical skills, creativity and getting into the outdoors. Josh says the surprise element is always fun – you’re never quite sure what you’re going to get – the light changes, or the weather comes in, or something goes through frame that you weren’t expecting that makes the shot.
A sequence of time-lapses Josh shot around Rotorua and Taupo for BBC Natural History Unit’s “New Zealand – Earth’s Mythical Islands” series has recently aired in the U.K.
Josh has also shot 2D and 3D timelapse in remote locations around Africa, ‘holy grail’ 24 hour timelapses around Queenstown, time-lapse plate shots for TVC’s and more.
