Cam Scott | “Prayin’ Rain”

Almost a year after our first music video for New Zealand Country Music’s Best male Artist for 2015, Cam Scott, we were stoked to produce another one for Cam’s awesome follow up single, “Prayin’ Rain”

“Prayin’ Rain” is a powerful country-rock ballad and with it’s themes of infidelity and heartbreak, it feels more grown up than the summery first single “Somethin’ Bout A Girl”

Storyworks provided end to end production for the clip, from concept and storyboards, Production, Direction and D.P, camera equipment, editing and grading.

We were fortunate to be able to pull in a fantastic cast and crew who all went above and beyond to help us deliver the film, and also to have lighting equipment generously supplied by Brett Mills at Local Action Queenstown.

The bar scene was shot at Bungalow Bar in Queenstown – special thanks to Daniel Taiaroa and the bar staff who were super helpful and make a mean espresso martini!

Also a big thank you to Tracy Cameron from Ican Models and Talent, Bronwyn from Fulton Hogan and Mac Shaw Clothing who dressed Cam.
